Sunrise Children’s Hospital offers dedicated pediatric and neonatal social workers providing skilled, compassionate services throughout the hospital. Family-centered services offered to children and families include:

• Assessments with referrals to appropriate resources
• Crisis intervention and support related to hospitalization and illness, including problem solving and coping strategies for families
• Assistance with applicable financial programs
• Injury prevention and illness-related educational interventions
• Links to an extensive network of national, state and local community agencies and resources
• Bereavement interventions and support
